Passing & failing

Every evaluation ends in one of three outcomes. All three are decided by the contract, recorded on-chain, and reflected on your credential.

Pass

You reach your tier's profit target with every rule intact. The moment your equity crosses the target with nothing breached, the evaluation is complete.

On a pass you'll see a result screen confirming the outcome and your stats. Passing:

  • Levels up your Genesis credential to the tier you just cleared.
  • Unlocks the next tier in the ladder (Starter → Basic → Pro).
  • Moves you up the leaderboard.
  • In the funded phase (v2), opens a one-click path to claim a funded account.

Fail (a breach)

You break a hard rule: your maximum drawdown or your daily loss limit. The evaluation ends immediately, the instant the breach is detected. There are no warnings, no second chances, and no appeal, because the outcome isn't a person's judgment, it's the rule's.

The fail screen names exactly which rule was breached and shows the trade that triggered it, so the outcome is fully explicable from your own record. From there you can retry. A retry is a fresh evaluation purchase: a brand-new account under the same credential. You can re-enter at the same tier, drop to a lower one, or step up.

Inactive

There is no abandon button. If you stop trading, the evaluation simply waits. After 7 days with no activity, it auto-terminates with an Inactive outcome, recorded separately from a pass or a fail. To trade again after that, you start a new evaluation.

What a breach looks like under the hood

Because Ultraprop fills against real venue prices, the two hard rules are checked after a fill settles: the system observes the settled trade, recalculates your equity, and if you've crossed the drawdown floor or the daily loss limit, the account is frozen with the breach reason recorded. No further trade can be booked once an account is frozen. This is covered in detail in On-chain rule enforcement.

After a funded termination (v2)

In the funded phase, breaking a rule terminates the funded account. There is no in-place revival. You re-enter the same way as any retry: by purchasing a new evaluation under the same credential. See The funded phase.
