The Genesis credential
When you pass your first evaluation, Ultraprop issues you a Genesis credential: a single, non-transferable record of what you've proven as a trader. It is the closest thing the platform has to an identity: not a username you picked, but a record of what you actually did.
What it is
- One per trader. Issued once, on your first pass. It is never re-issued and never duplicated.
- Non-transferable. It can't be sold, listed, lent, or moved to another account. It means something precisely because you can't acquire it any way other than earning it.
- It levels up in place. Rather than collecting a new badge each time, your one credential levels up as you clear higher tiers.
- It's on-chain and verifiable. Anyone can independently check it: it isn't a claim sitting in a private database. See Verifiability.
How it levels up
| Level | Earned by |
|---|---|
| Unranked | New account, no pass yet |
| Starter | Passing the Starter evaluation |
| Basic | Passing the Basic evaluation |
| Pro | Passing the Pro evaluation |
The credential also carries a running record of your activity (your highest tier, total passes, total simulated P&L, total trades, and when you were last active), which accumulates across every attempt, passes and fails alike.
What it proves
The credential is proof of skill, demonstrated under enforced rules: nothing more and nothing less. Specifically, it attests that the holder:
- Traded against live market prices, not a delayed or synthetic feed.
- Was held to automatic rule enforcement with no possibility of a back-office override.
- Earned every level once, per account, with the credential non-transferable.
- Did so under a disclosed, identical slippage model: the same +2 bps house tilt applied to everyone.
That's the whole value. The credential is a verifiable trading résumé you can point anyone to.
Why "Genesis"
The closed-beta cohort is the first group of traders inside Ultraprop. Their credentials are the genesis records of the platform: minted once, never transferable, and carried forward as the platform grows. The credential is designed to evolve in place into the funded phase, gaining real-capital history without ever being re-issued, so an early, hard-won record stays a record.
