FAQ

Getting in

Do I need to know anything about crypto?

No. You sign up with email or a social login, and an account is created for you behind the scenes: no wallet, no seed phrase, no gas, no network settings. See Verifiability for what's happening underneath, if you're curious.

Is there KYC?

The closed beta is invite-led with no fiat banking surface, so there's no document upload or KYC theatre to get started. Lightweight verification may be added later only where a jurisdiction requires it.

How do I get access right now?

Ultraprop is in closed beta. Starter evaluations open via an invite code; Basic and Pro are started by paying the evaluation fee.

The evaluation

What exactly do I have to do to pass?

Reach your tier's profit target (8% or 10%) without breaking a hard rule: your maximum drawdown or your daily loss limit. That's it.

What ends my evaluation early?

Crossing your maximum drawdown or your daily loss limit. Either one freezes the account immediately. There are no warnings and no appeals. See Passing & failing.

Can I get the fee back if I fail?

No. The evaluation fee is non-refundable per attempt. In the funded phase, your first successful payout refunds your original fee, but that applies to funded trading, not to a failed paper evaluation.

What can I trade?

Crypto perpetuals: the Hyperliquid catalog of ~180 markets, long or short, with per-market leverage and cross or isolated margin. See Markets. Spot, prediction markets, and airdrop strategies are on the roadmap.

What order types are there?

Market-order entries with optional take-profit / stop-loss brackets (which can carry an expiry). Resting limit and stop-entry orders are on the roadmap. See Placing trades.

Fairness & trust

Who decides if I passed or failed?

The contract does. Rules are enforced in code; there's no human reviewer, no override, and nothing to appeal. The outcome is whatever the rule computed from your trades, and you can verify it yourself.

Is the slippage hidden?

No. Your exact fill (oracle price, size slippage, the +2 bps house tilt, and the taker fee) is shown line by line before you submit. See The fill & slippage model.

What happens if prices break mid-trade?

If the price feed goes stale, trading pauses rather than filling you against a bad number. See Prices & oracles.

Why does the daily limit reset at a weird time for me?

The daily loss limit resets at 00:00 UTC for everyone; there's no per-trader timezone. The cockpit shows a live countdown to the next reset.

The record

What's the Genesis credential: is it a token or an airdrop?

Neither. It's a non-transferable, on-chain record of what you've proven as a trader: proof of skill, not an allocation or a claim on future value. Ultraprop makes no token or airdrop promise. See The Genesis credential.

Does a failed attempt wipe my record?

No. Your credential accumulates history across every attempt: passes, fails, and inactive terminations all stay part of the record.

Money (funded phase / v2)

When do real payouts start?

In the funded phase (v2), which is not yet live. The closed beta is paper-trading with no real capital and no payouts. See The funded phase.

How big is the profit split?

From 75/25 up to 90/10 in your favor, depending on tier, and it improves as you stay profitable. See Profit splits & scaling.

How fast are payouts?

Stablecoin transfers settle in minutes and reach anywhere, with an automatic fiat off-ramp: no wire transfer, no bank rejection. See Payouts.
