From evaluation to funded

What "funded" means

Pass an evaluation in the funded phase and you graduate to a funded account backed by the firm's real capital. You trade the same surface you trained on, same cockpit, same markets, same rules, but now:

  • Real vault capital backs your trading. Your balance is still notional (you never custody the firm's money), but real capital is deployed behind your positions on mainnet venues.
  • Profits are split with the firm and paid out in stablecoins. See Profit splits & scaling and Payouts.
  • The rules still bind. Breaking a hard rule terminates the funded account.

How execution changes

In the closed beta, the platform contract is the only place a trade happens; every rule can be checked before a fill. In the funded phase, trades execute on real venues (spot on Cetus, perpetuals on Bluefin). That changes when two of the rules are checked, not whether:

  • Pre-trade checks still reject a trade before it executes: account status, position-size and leverage caps, venue concentration, the rate limit, and a stale price feed.
  • Drawdown and daily loss are checked after the fill settles: the system observes the real fill, recomputes your equity, and if you've crossed a limit, the account is frozen with the breach recorded. This is the honest way to enforce those two rules once a real venue is in the loop. The same model is described in On-chain rule enforcement.

If a funded account is terminated

A drawdown or daily-loss breach on a funded account ends it. There's no in-place revival. You re-enter by purchasing a new evaluation under the same credential, at whatever tier you choose. Your credential keeps your full history; the terminated account doesn't come back.

What carries over from the beta

Everything you build now follows you in. Your Genesis credential evolves in place: it gains real-capital history (funded passes, real P&L, funded date, payout history) without ever being re-issued. The leaderboard and your public profile continue straight through. The record you build in the closed beta is the foundation of your funded standing.

Tiers in the funded phase

The funded phase adds Elite ($100k) and Whale ($250k) above Pro, and attaches a profit split to every tier. The full ladder is in Profit splits & scaling.
